Welcome to Holistic Healing Counselling & Psychotherapy

About Jennifer…

Hello and welcome! My name is Jennifer, and I'm a Clinical Social Worker and Trauma Therapist. I am also a proud "Mama" to three beautiful souls who I’m lucky enough to call my children! My family is where I place a great deal of my time, humbling me along the way and helping me to continually accept myself as perfectly imperfect. When I’m not with my family, I'm spending time with my animals, or enjoying our beautiful mother earth.

I am incredibly passionate about my calling to work with people. For as long as I remember, I’ve felt a strong sense of empathy and compassion for others. This is what led me to the helping profession, leaving me filled with gratitude to be able to walk with people on their own unique journeys. I’ve been honoured to work with courageous people in doing repair work at the deepest level, supporting resilience and long-lasting change.

I believe in a holistic approach, considering the healing and development of all aspects in one’s life, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. My clinical practices reflect core principles of a trauma informed approach to care, using individuals strengths to empower them in the development or their treatment. I dedicate myself to each one of my clients, and admire the strength and commitment it takes to heal, transform and open up to a more reflective perspective.

I offer counselling and psychotherapy for children, youth, and adults using modalities based on their individual needs. Issues could include stress, PTSD/trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, low self-worth, and life transitions. I support the ability to restore peace, safety, and gain self awareness by focusing on the behaviour as well as the underlying reasons for the behaviour.

My goal is to create a compassionate and safe environment, and I’m sincere and curious in understanding your experience. I strive to hold a safe space for you to journey through your emotions and challenges, and navigate various life issues to find clarity and peace. A confidential, non-judgemental, and safe therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance to me in my work with you. Please feel free to reach out and connect with me, and we can start where you are. Remember, you do have what it takes!
